Lawrie Js and Ps (and probably all MMM, ie overhead cam cars) have the knock off nuts you describe. T types have the much simpler MG legend. The threads are the same so the nuts will fit. My replacement Rudge-Whitworth nuts came from Sports and Vintage some years ago: I would imagine he still supplies them.
