Folks,
The newly-formed Vintage Minor Register is holding its Inaugural Rally in and
around Old Warden over the weekend of 11th/12thAugust. The Register caters
for OHC Morris Minors - 1928 to 1931. We will be gathering at noon for a pub
lunch at the Royal Oak at Barrington, near Cambridge on Saturday lunchtime
and then taking a tour of the local countryside to arrive at the Shuttleworth
Collection at Old Warden aerodrome in time for their sunset air display in
the evening. There is a combined VSCC/VMR dinner afterwards at Shuttleworth
House, and on Sunday, there are combined VSCC/VMR driving tests at RAF
Henlow, some 5 miles south of Old Warden.
All MMM owners are cordially invited to join us, and would be made most
welcome - particularly at the Royal Oak on Saturday lunchtime, where the pub
faces the largest village green in England - so there will be plenty of
parking space! At the very least, it would be good to have a few M Types in
