Dear Chris,
The s/c is lubed with engine oil.
The Ki-gas is a primer pump to give the intake manifold some starting juice.
John Bibby is the acknowledged S/C expert in the English speaking world, and
I'd strongly suggest you take any and all queries to him for resolution
and/or parts for the oiler and linkage.
