Sounds like one of those situations where you need two people underneath
massaging the headers as you lower and tilt the motor in the car.
Many of the bikes we simply lay the motor on it's side on a couch cushion,
and then lay the bike over it, put the bolts in it and stand it up.. so
there's a good chance I don't know what the hell I'm tlaking about. ;-)
Sometimes(many times), walking away is the right thing to do to make it
happen with minimal residual damage.
