I should have not used the word "record"; I meant that it had the
distinction of being the fastest diesel for a short time.



The fact that Chassis Engineering was able to break 300mph is truly
remarkable, especially considering the difference in resources. Nothing
taken away from JCB-they did a great job, too.

Just to correct you - the Cummins Diesel still got his record - the two
cars are running in two different classes - he lost only the title as
the fastest diesel....but against this twin engine car no wonder
