Sorry we didn't slam a few beers but I knew you were totally tied up with  
timing runs.
 
Yes, the salt is very humbling, especially to someone like me who was too  
familiar with driving with traction on asphalt. The salt is a lot like packed  
snow to drive on. By the 6th run I finally figured out to feather the throttle. 
 It makes driving on the salt a lot more driver dependant. You don't just 
stand  on it to go fast, you must feel the track and respond accordingly. You 
must  become one with the salt to go fast.
 
Thanks, I hope someday I will have a Red Hat but I feel I need to "do my  
time" on the salt before I "deserve" one.
