No Namers

This past Saturday, the No Namers LSR club met at my new shop to properly
dedicate it to the God of Speed. Thanks to everyone who turned out. I know
that many of you were in more than a little trouble with the better half as
our lunch get together ran into the evening hours. Please be kind to them.
they love us but do not understand the time it takes to properly discuss the
various techniques and approaches to cam profiling. or a new thought on an
aero approach to keeping the laminar flow together for that extra MPH. or
the roots blower mounted twin Triumph - great job Ken!. or prep for the
August pilgrimage to the racers Mecca. or what a 600cc Honda sounds like at
WOT on a Dyno for two whole minuets'.

A special thanks to Rick Byrnes for trusting a bunch of. adequately hydrated
racers. to machine a part he had to have the next day. that was a big hole
you wanted in that part - right? .

And to Don Sherman [Automobile Magazine] and Paul Pahouski [Katech Engine
Development] who stopped by to share their wisdom and experience, and lastly
to Shaun, Kelly and Patty, our newbie's. I hope we did not scare you off.
this group can get a little passionate about the pursuit of speed...

Thanks again, I hope everyone had as much fun as I had.

See you on the salt,

JLS
