Dick, I have run rubber mounts, but the engine and transmission are now bolted directly to the frame. I don't see any advantage to rubber mounts except a little less vibration throughout the car. Bolting solid eliminates one more "weak link". I certainly would not mix types of mounts. It makes good sense to use rubber for engine and trans or solid for both. Tom, Redding CA - #216 D/FCC |
