Hi all,... I've been following the 'World Fastest Indian' dialog with a lot
of interest on the LSR list the past few weeks..

Unfortunately it seems NY State is not going to get to see it...
Apparently.

I'll have to wait to see if I can get it later on DVD I guess... ;- (

And that got me to thinking about an article I found a while ago on the net
(don't know where anymore.... -getting old ya know...) Anyway I found it
again recently saved on disc, printed it out, re-read it, and in
conversation with Joe Timney last night, I decided to 'offer' it to anyone
who might like a copy of it -just ask me 'off list' and I'll try to send it
to ya. It's about 4pgs. long and in WORD format with photos.. -a reprint
of letter he wrote back in 1970 to a friend in England,..

ALSO: I also got to thinking back to 1989 -when I first 'discovered' Burt's
baby, -I was cruising around the pits at Bonneville on m' Harley-D, to see
what I could see -and there it was !

Under a sunshade, parked on display near the Redhead (another treat!) with
the LS side cover off... -anyway, I took a few photos, (which I will soon
try to scan and post on landracing.com for all to see...) Give me a few
daze ok ? I dont have access to the net at home, so I must use public
library for scanning AND posting Anyway, feel free of course to "steal"
them if you'd like to print them out. My complements,.. ;- ) Hey!
Were all in this together -right ?

Cheers,.. -and best wishes, -it's, "Dirt Track Doug" -still stuck in New
Yawk,

...who's decided to put Boogie Woogie up for sale... -interested ? -write
me 'off list' please
