Thanks, Chris. I wonder what Ebert & Roper will give it? (Thumbs up...
or thumbs down?) I'm looking forward to its release here.

Well List just seen the movie.
Now you all know your going to like it regardless because of its
subject,
that's a givin.

Its a very simple story of a very simple man living in simple
surroundings in
a country far away in uncomplicated times.
Going to the local hall for the regular community dance and a few beers
so
typical of the times.
Bert's passion for his old bike is well known locally, but taken
seriously by
few which strengthens his desire to prove its outright capability.

The culture change this Southern Kiwi man experiences upon arrival in
the US
very much an entertaining highlight of the movie that continues. His
almost
disbelieving feeling setting foot on the salt for the first time
certainly
struck a chord with me.

To sum up: a movie adventure of a very passionate character perfectly
portrayed in its simpler times, thoroughly entertaining, motivating and
Hopkins outstanding.

Enjoy.

Chris Harris....................NZed.
