I guarantee, it is absolutely necessary to try the car fully suited and tightly
strapped in. I used a Kirky in my camaro and found (at the line on the first
race morning) that I could not reach the ignition switch when strapped in. Had
to jury rig a whole switch panel before I could make a run. I just put another
Kirky in my Firebird, and found that my helmet hit the top cage bar. I had to
move the seat over a little in order to sit straight.

Soooo....given the limited space in the car, the
hardest part of getting "suited up & belted in" is
putting on my helmet. I have to lean as far forward as
possible (still hit the roof) and muscle it on. So,
have you tried suiting up and putting on your helmet
with the new seat?
