On the USFRA site
World of Speed -2005 Has officially been cancelled!!
U.S.F.R.A. officials standing on the race course have decided to cancel
World of Speed due to deteriorating course conditions. Standing water on the
saltflats has been blowing generally toward the race course we intended to
use, and conditions there are not improving.
