One of the problems with a new gas welder is that they use too big a tip and then try to turn it down. What happens then is you will have a lot of torch popping and back fire and burning in the mixing chamber. Use a small tip that will get the job done and turn up the torch this will eliminate most of the popping and going out. Larry Mac |
