have a vehicle that is a blown or unblown automobile or is thrust powere by
jet or rocket the FIA have a class - but you will run against the record
speeds of the most effective body shape - often but not always the
streamliner. look at the FIA lists and you will see sedans, specials and
sports cars listed."

Basically within FIA rules you can run a streamliner or a production sedan.
Nothing in-between.
In engine classes FIA has a bunch of infinitesimally small engine sizes and
then when we get to the big stuff the class jumps from 183" to 305" to 488".
So only streamlines are interested and only a limited number of those
actually participate. Still seems restricted to me.
