Does that Dornier DO 335 have a "Meridith Effect" oil cooler under the tail?
(couldn't help myself). Those German engineers did a lot of wild stuff.
They also built a tank-killer fighter plane with a 105mm Howitzer mounted
underneath--called it a "panzerknocker"     I think we also built an
experimental plane with the same engine/prop configuration as the DO 335.
