Roll Centre position all depends upon the type of mountings you are using
for the solid axle and their vertical positions (on chassis and to the
axle) as viewed in end elevation.

As to what you do with the data, it seems to depend upon how low you value
the roll centre being. Some people go to length with linkages to put it
close to road surface level with a straight axle. Others accept it may be
on the horizontal centreline of the axle. A difference of say 13 or 14
inches in vertical height.

Unfortunately there is no one answer as to what is best to do it seems.
And as for the best for LSR work - well it depends now on who writes the
book first! (LOL).
