Some good points, Neil

I don't have access to one right now,but from my safety analysis days I know
that Human Factors Engineering Handbooks usually have a great deal of info
on aircraft, nuclear power plant,etc instrumentation and how us humans react
to the data displays--looking at one of those might be helpful for some of
the guys.
