Since Lexan is a trade it is really polycarbonate or somthing like that.  I
used 1/8" on my roadster and bought 4'x4' at a plastics distributer.  My OSH
hardware carries it too.  Made one for my Harley also. Same Stuff.  I
drilled the holes to mount it before I trimmed the bottom on both.   Made a
pattern out of upholstry cardboard. To thick is hard to bend.
mine only goes above the mounting by 3 1/2"  Good Luck  J.D.
