    What great meet, just a touch of rain on Saturday afternoon and we were
back running in two hours. The biggest news was Wayne Pollack riding Rich
Yancy's turbo 'Busa to an astounding 242 MPH. And this is basically a street
bike.
    Lots of other neat stuff too. Like Steve Demartino's new Honda powered
Lakester. Four or five neat looking Roadsters running (two were supercharged).
And Calvin Smith finished off his Streamliner (blew one engine at Bonneville)
by destroying the tranny with the one good engine he had left. Lots of bikes
from a 61 MPH 50cc monster to a twin engined Harley.
    Just a great meet. Looking forward to October and what is sure to be a
biggie.
