Believe it or not, fender well paint is not that critical...
You WILL be cleaning the car thoughly (won't you?) after each
use, so rust won't have time to form. This is an area where I
do like etching primer....  My roll cage is painted with
enamel & has held up well for 10 years. One suggestion for the
interior floor and trunk - Are you familiar  with that
spray-in bed-liner for trucks? Rhino Liner is the only brand
that comes to mind, but the yellow pages would help. Might
have to drag it to Vegas... Anyway, this stuff is tough, won't
wear, won't rust & looks kinda neat. We use it on 4-wheel
drives here. It also works pretty well as a sound deadener.
