When the "new" Classic Class was introduced last year, the first year was
to be a "trial" period. What is the current status of the class for this
year? Is it now permanent?

Elon & list,
The Classic Category was voted to be continued by the board. The only change
is that the statement that once entered in a classic class the vehicle must
remain there forever. The vehicle must compete in the category it is entered
in for the current competition year. The car can now change between the
Classic and Modified Categories in different years.
Bottom line, if you enter the Modified Category classes you can use EFI, data
logger, etc. Classic Category classes remain the same.
