Put some good old fashion traction bars on there and you won't get any wrap up.
A pinion snubber also works well. I ran factory super stock leaf springs and
a pinion snubber on a VERY torquey Mopar 440. It hooked very well.

now. The little truck (S10) we are building has leaf springs. I am just not
comfortable with wrap up, wheel hop and uncontrolled pinion angle that I
associeate whith high torque applied through leaf springs. I am considering
using the leaves with a connection to the axle housing that allows the housing
to rotate with a ladder bar to control the pinion angle and aid in some weight
transfer. I think it is called a floater set up.
