Excellent advice. I failed to to keep hydrated in 1985 and got dingy. Bought
$10.00 worth of water & soda and started sweating after the first long drink.
I didn't feel 100% until about 2-3 hours later. I'm not going to admit that
I forget my water discipline because I was excited (no B'ville '82, '83 & '84).

Don't forget, your driving suit will NOT properly protect you from heat if
it is soaked with water. High heat flashes the water to steam. Not as bad as
direct flame/heat but something to avoid is possible.

I used to bring bags of Blue Ice, keep them in the ice chest and stuff them
down the front of Howard's driving suit. That kept it tolerable for him when
the course was shut down because a ()^*#@ glass &*@%ing window blew out of a
car spreading glass gravel on a 1/2 mile of the course.

Have fun,
Bryan Savage
