While we are on this DEX-COOL thing, how about changing over to Dex-cool from
ethylene glycol anti-freeze and then developing external coolant leaks
between the cylinder head and block. It is happening as we read this on a
1992 Ford Explorer in my shop. The plan is to go back on Prestone and see if
the leaks stop. Remember, there was no leak before the Dex-Cool !!!!
