Wouldn't you have to watch out for the little green guys running out in front
of the cars?
Just kidding, I know they moved them to Wright-Pat. in Dayton Ohio.

John Backus- we're near Dayton and we have seen them in cold storage.

KT, Roswell NM has a 10,000 and a 12,500? --but it sure dosent qualify as
centerally
located-- they are fairly receptive. the 12,500 has their ILS the 10,000 has
recently been resurfaced. wmts

8000' of pavement isn't enough for my car.... I'm going to be heading into
the dirt at around 100mph... I'm pretty sure I can get it shut down by the
end of the 3000' of dirt....

Should I add another Parachute?.... not really.... it stops just fine and
doesn't exhibit any screwy tendencies like others I've seen. So my
Preference on a course is still a Paved 10,000' ....

The other part of the equation is it must be virtually dead smooth for us
to have the west coast girls come out and play.... They don't seem to have
anyone out there that knows how to build a suspension. Or Hp for that
matter....LOL.... NOW this is getting fun.... let me see who else I can
pick on.... Oh yeah.... and since they lack organizational skills out
there I'd strongly recommend us Hick's take care of the whole deal...

Seriously... we have looked at several airports... the key is to find a
city father with enough brains to allow it to happen... and an airport with
two runways one of which is inactive and LONG.... there are a bunch of
these out there... the key is to find the right one that is centrally
located to all....

I've spent some time playing with the FAA and the folks that write the
grants which maintain these runways for war time use.... and unless the
airport can remain open there is very little chance of them allowing us to
use the facility as they would loose their grant..... if anyone out there
knows of an airport that meets our basic requirements Please contact me or
Bill Smith...( aka wtms... or buckwheat... you pick )
