Hi Folks,

to all who send me the request to the Cremona I have a question.
Can you guys use a Power Pointer file on your PC. Please let me know.
Than I can make a PPS file and I will send them.

The Cremona is a very old, simple mathematik rule.

For the use we got on the salt, the BNI/SCTA picture is wrong, for the NHRA -
this guy done it the right way.
The NHRA done it wrong buy purpose. When you see a fuel dragster in the start,
you can see that the car, when he lift the front end, the frame bend (bows)
downwards. If they build them to the cremona plan, this will be not possible.

In short form, the Cremona plan is a rule which helps you to make the the frame
stiffer or if you reach your goal of strength with a normal design, you can
make them lighter using Cremona. Means, you can reduce the cross section of the
tube which recduce the weight.

By they, did you guys ever calculate a frame? or you go with thumb up
mathematik
- looks good, will work.

If I remember correct, I think Jack's #788 is in the most area build to Cremona.

Louise, yeap the Green Mamba was build like a rock. Using 2" tubings, oops - we
use so square cross section for the 16 t bus frame in Germany.

But Doug was right to build them so strong - so often time he went over the
stopping point - I read once a nice comment about Doug "Is Doug ill? The last
months he stopped on the right place. Doug, where is the fun for the
spectators?"

See ya
