Home again safely and with no breakage this time! Made 2 passes at
WOS...... 268 that Bill reported and 266 for an average of 267.459.......
14 MPH over the record we set at Speedweek. There is more left in the combo.
Suffered some engine damage from an internal water leak that seems to have
eroded the piston and combustion chamber on #8 cylinder. Looks like the
water came from the exhaust seat area as there was no standing water in the
cylinder but there was in the stack......will see what Brodix has to say
about it.
Now for planning for 2002....... Rich, what are you planning?
The "Rose" is for sale. Really good deal on "roller" with trailer but less
engine. Any takers?
