All of my life I've quoted the top speed of our 8N as 14 mph, according to
the manual I must have read someplace. I have to say that one of the most
valuable features was the individual rear wheel brakes - After a snowstorm
I'd lock up one wheel and learn about spinning, and release it to learn to
(try to recover) from aforementioned whirls. No, I never rolled it, thanks
to the wonderful suspension and low Cg.
