The 500 cc engines are by honda,suzuki,yahama,aprilia ,modena and others.They
are 2,3,and 4 cyl,straight 4,V-2,V-3 and all make at least 190 hp. Surf for a
500 cc Gran Prix web site and you'll find they are pure factory and 100k @ to
"special people" with names like Roberts,current 500 GP champ,son of Kenny
Roberts. There is a 250 cc AMA class w/ 90 hp that runs in the US,Hopefully
coming soon to a track near you. I'm currently building a
Lakester/auto-crosser/hill-climber w/ 500 cc rotax and "only" 135 hp,but i
believe that's all i'll need......Bob Wanner
