We have discussed the chute scenario before. In my opinion the troubled
shut downs with chute deployment come fro two issues, tow lines too
short and mountings too low. The chute manufactures can shed light on
this. We use a long line and a mounting about three feet above the
ground. I have heard others say the mounting should be at camshaft high.

Just some thoughts.
