List,
Nothing moves fast in this publicity stuff. I first talked to Peter Fish 22
months ago. Schedules and problems delayed contact in person until last
August. He timed the Western Wanderings bit to give us maximum exposure for
this seasons racing. Nice guy to deal with and a class magazine as well.
My middle daughter gave me a poster for my birthday ... a blow up of a
Sunset Magazine cover from 1903 ... A Maynard Dixon illustration of an
indian in a blanket. I'm a big Dixon fan and this is the closest I'll ever
come to having an original of his. There was a large study he did of a
dejected man sitting on a curb in one of the classrooms where I took a
beginning design class. I'm afraid I remember far more of that painting
than I do of what B. F. Larsen was teaching.
