Thanks , that helps a great deal.

New quesition.
I am used to building drag cars where you cut the
floor, build a chassis and then lay the body over it .
The Porsche -- because it was a torque tube
configuration has what you could call a built in belly
pan. Kind of looks like a VW Bug from underneath.
Now , can I build the frame inside the car --cover it
with a sub floor and ,besides limiting my headroom
even more , would that be within the rules?
That way the factory pan would stay in place and I
would be building inside to car.
I am kind of confused with the definition of "frame
outside vs frame inside " and "frame no lower than the
body" etc.
