Hey Rich,
don't make exception for us New Zealanders not being up to
radical stuff.
First off Richard Pearce did powered flight a year before the Wright Bros
(sorry guys), Kiwi Lord Rutherford, 1st to split the atom and if you want
LSR ? Ever hear about Bert Monroe who ran a 1923 Indian powered bike
streamliner at Bonneville through the 60's. His exploits defy belief. He
hand made everything in his one room house, workshop. Rods from tractor
axles, pistons cast in the ground, sewer pipe barrels and that scooter ate
snake with the best, holding a class record for many years. With regard the
big engine / little engine contro, it honestly seems to me that smaller
engines are the most efficient comparatively. The choice, which varies with
each individual however is exactly the cornerstone of this whole Hot
rodding deal.
God help me I luv it !
