Talked to a buddy that runs a TV station and he was telling me why the VCR
or Camcorders don't record during acceleration... it didn't have anything
to do with Electro Magnetic interference but actually was about
Vibration.... As I understood it.. the Vibrations actually cause the Heads
not to record.... His answer was to pack it in Foam or use a Lipstick Cam
stuffed in a Tube with foam packing.... he has done this several times and
it works fine... Hmmm

A Square aluminum case with a front opening might also... and the camera
mounted aimed at the dash ....

I am guessing that there is more time at Bonneville to check the gages...
but so far... the best I can tell you about anything is ...."yep she's got
gages" and they work great in the Pits and as a quick check before the
start...after that they are something in your peripheral vision and as long
as the warning lights are out... we are fine.... hmmm
