We all have them when either the brain isn't in gear, or you don't focus en=
ough.
Trying to remove the slack from the BN3's gear change. It's a 100S gearbox,=
therefore sideshift, and the same from the BN2 through to the early Mk2 Ro=
adsters.
Removed the gearstick and all okay. Put it back in and 'tinkle, tinkle' the=
sound the brass bush falling down into the black abyss.
The car is now on jack stands and the oil is about to be drained so the sid=
eplate can be removed.
A moment of stupidity.
