It was time to change the oil and filter again. As usual i had trouble getting
a seal between the top and body of the filter holder. Simply, neither of the
two supplied o rings are the correct size. Also as usual in my haste to get the
car back on the road i neglected to take dimensions of the groove in the filter
head which would enable me to get hold of the correct size o ring. Does anyone
have a note of the correct o ring size? Having eventually achieved a seal with
a combination of good luck and instant gasket, I am loathe to take it all apart
again but would love to make the job easier for next time! I am not keen to
change to a spin off filter.
