Roland asked his question about timing marks on early 100 engines a couple weeks ago which Dave Nock answered previously. If you don?t have the infamous arrow try this. The arrow on the later 100?s is positioned along a straight line between the center point of the original four blade cast fan and the center of the crankshaft pulley. Wipe the crud off the timing chain cover just above crank pulley, pull a string between the two points and open the ancient bottle of ?whiteout? and mark your new timing reference mark.
