| Ira: An off the wall suggestion: There is a product called "Screw Grab" - "To aid in removing or tightening screws, as well as nuts and bolts". Google it. It is a very gritty friction gel. I have used Screw Grab to remove badly damaged screws. Perhaps a few drops on the nut or socket/wrench would provide the grip needed to dislodge that nut.
