Dave I would assume that the align boring would be most beneficial for extending the the life of the main bearings. Agree that it should be checked during a rebuild. I think JQ was concerned about rod bearings. Aloha Perry you MUST have the block line bored otherwise the irst thin layer of the tri metal will be damaged. |
