If you choose the right kind of UBC (flexible and self repairing) it 
will protect the car well, but at the same time you need a complete anti 
corrosion wax treatment.
However you will never win a concours and selling may be a problem as 
people like to see what they buy and UBC can cover up a multitude of sins.
