[Healeys] Front Seal - BN1 Gearbox

I am considering putting a front seal on the gearbox of my BN1.  There have
been some "mixed" opinions on this list before, anyone recommend or not
recommend doing this?  I live in a hilly place so the front screw seal does
leak alot of fluid over time.
