I wonder if any of you would like to check on which hole in the
steering column brace the aluminum collar is anchored. I see from my
dismantling phoyos that it was originally on the second from the
bottom hole, but as I reassemble things, it seems to want to sit at
the top hole.
I see that the steering box has room for movement on two of the bolt
holes, so I'm wondering whether i should shift the column this way to
bring it to the original hole.
