[Healeys] Unknown spring packing pieces -Healey?

I am clearing up my garage and found four NOS rear leaf spring packing
rubbers. Three of them are in their original BMC wrapping - The description
reads AAA1623 - Sealing pad rubber,  Does anyone know were trhey come from?
