At the risk of stating the obvious, allow me to point out the safety
issue of driving the Healey with the drive line bare allowing access
to the OD operating valve lever. I have myself done what was
suggested regarding road testing the OD. But, that spinning U-joint
does tend to get your attention and it is best to be sure there is no
loose clothing anywhere near the drive line. As we all know, the
Healey has a boat load of torque.
