I wonder if a piece of "static cling" film (Approx. 5" X 12") could be  
temporarily stuck on the inside of the windscreen to block the sun. It  could 
easily be repositioned if necessary & removed for storage when not  required. 
One for the driver & one for the navigator.
Looking into this is on my never ending list of things to do.
I think I am back on the list.
