| The tube for the dip stick is not screwed in.  It is pressed in.  Just pick 
drill bit that is a snug fit inside the tube.  Push it in, grip the tube w/ 
a vice-grip pliers, and whack the pliers w/ a hammer.  The tube will pop 
right out.  At least this is true for 3000 engines.
