[Healeys] Healey metallurgy

The metal shelf surround on my late BJ8 has a kink in it.  I would assume the
thin metal was put on for support, but from the looks of the warped panels,
that did not work.  If I straighten this metal out, and then heat it, will it
have any additional strength?
