Thanks you to everyone who replied on and off list. I've determined that my gearbox assembly has only a single buffer in the clutch housing. I have yet to reassemble, though. I have braved separating the overdrive unit to change those seals and gaskets. There's more, but that's another post... Thank you Healey list and listers.
