Folks,
After 3,000 miles the County water pump in my 62 BT7 needs replacing. I'm
guessing the bearings are shot - it rumbles at 1000 rpm and I can wiggle
the fan blades (at 0 rpm) and watch the pulley rock.
The spare in the boot is also a County. So I'm wondering if I'm going to
have to replace it in another year or so? Have there been other problems
with the County water pumps? Is there a better pump available?
Is anyone rebuilding pumps?
