when i restored by bj8 about ten years ago, the overdrive throttle switch never
worked correctly again. i did everything i could think of and everything that
folks on this list have recommended. i even disassembled the switch to check
for damage. i have learned to operate without it working correctly, but sure
would like to have it correct. i too hate to just replace parts until i find
the cause. i anxiously await the outcome of this saga and will attempt once
again to repair mine when simon tells us the cause and fix. healeymanjim
